As a starter with stencil brushes? You can’t complain about the price. There was a tiny bit of shedding but it was expected. However, the biggest issue was the crimp ((aka the metal piece that binds the bristles and handle together on the paint brush)) was in fact very loose and it did fall off from the handle. It’s an easy fix with some super glue or any glue you have to remedy the issue…but its more about the principle that the glue they do use to bind it together? Is not good. So, a minor inconvenience and one to expect.Overall? I’d buy them again.

I used these brushes to stencil my bathroom. They put up well with the abuses of stenciling, which include a great deal of stabbing as well as traditional strokes. The bristles stayed in the brush and didn’t shed everywhere. They held up well enough I could use them for another project, to be sure.

I basically bought these because I needed a stiff bristle brush for ink splattering. They’re probably stuff enough as they are but I’ll cut the bristles down on at least one to be shorter and make them even more stiff. This is to put a little white acrylic paint mixed with water, or ink onto a block and then spatter onto my project. They’re too small to use much as a stipple brush, but a fabulous price for other uses.
