This is my first set of copic markers so it’s also my first time ever using them. They came well packaged with no damage. I really love these! I’ve used master markers that are alcohol based, which work, but the nibs are awful and harder to blend so I decided to finally get these. Now I have to get all the Ciao’s! I’ll put an example of me using them and a white gel pen. Worth the price in my opinion for quality alcohol based markers.

Ordered these not too long after I acquired sets 72A and 72B. I just had to have all 180 Copic Ciaos, and the last set of 36 really is the icing on the cake of this Copic collection. You get a really great range of colors from the other 144 markers but set 36E gives you a handful more to really make your collection feel complete. The colors offered are a good mix of what I’ll call “gap colors”. They fill in the gaps of your color palette. A good mix of light and dark colors, earth tones, and some more warm and cool grays to help give your art more of that depth you want.Very happy with this set. Very happy with the entire Copic Ciao collection. Best investment I’ve ever made in a set of markers.

This 36 pack COMPLETED my collection of Copic Ciaos. <3 It was the final part of my February gift from my husband (birthday and Valentine's Day rolled into one, I don't get ridiculously expensive gifts every month.) and my ONLY complaint was that the corner of the lid has a sizeable chunk missing from it, I assume from the rough shipping process, and I won't deduct stars for something that I know isn't anything to do with the seller or the product. I have all of my Ciao's in a fabric toolbox, anyway.10/10

Super bummed the case was smashed up so it wasn’t an option for storing the set. The markers are amazing. Great blending with these alcohol based markers even though there wasn’t a plain blender included (i bought mine separately). If copic added one to each of these sets it would be pretty great. All of the markers are juicy, none were even close to being dried out. I was a little nervous about that since a few sets I have bought in the past had dried out markers. I tend to use more cool and earthy colors so this set was perfectly suited for that.

as we all know, copics are top of the line, professional markers. the ciao markers are smaller than the sketch markers, making them the cheaper option with the exact same quality and use. you never have to throw a marker out, you simply buy replacement nibs and ink refills for an eternal tool, making them worth the money in the long run. the color looks great and they’re easy to use after getting used to them. the colors blend well if you do it right. while the color that comes out doesn’t perfectly match the cap, that’s to be expected of any marker, and it’s very close. just test it on another sheet of paper before you use it on a drawing.

Good thing about ciaos is that they are more affordable, and this was the last part I needed to complete my ciaos set. The sketch has more colors, but that adds to the price. Maybe I’ll aim for that next. But quality is amazing. Great blending and a silky smooth brush tip that doesn’t split like some other markers. Brush tips make the overall experience better. Wasn’t really ever a fan of the bullet nip due to limited area cover. Buy this and 72 sets A & B fot the entire set, and you are ready to go.

These are at the top of the mountain of markers along with prismacolor and maybe Windsor and Newton. However what’s been copic ahead is the ability to buy markers in separate sets I. Order to get them all. Prisma color only lets you buy their markers in bigger and bigger sets which means if you don’t buy the full set off the bat then you will get duplicates, unless you buy open stock one by one which is crazy. Also the refill ability is just very good as well.
