This is a great beginner set. Comes with lots of options to mix and paint. This is a dream set for anyone who loves to paint. You get water colors, acrylic and oil paints.This set is good for kids and adults. The case is wood turns into an easel very easy to use and sturdy. Great quality and workmanship. This was a birthday gift I purchased early for my teen that is very artistic and wants to explore art a little more. I’m excited to her to see what she does and how well she likes the set.

I purchased this for myself. I am an artist. I love to work with multiple forms of paint, so this kit was an incredible choice. It comes with 12 tubes of each type of paint. It has Acrylic, Oil, and watercolor. You also receive a variety of paint brushes, a watercolor paper pad and a pallet. One thing I really enjoy about this set is that the wooden case becomes a table top easel. That has been really useful to me for painting as well as drawing. I even set it on my lap while I sketch at times. This is a great kit for seasoned artists as well as new artists. I believe in encouraging people to try a variety of different media. I allowed my kids to paint with me using this set and they really had fun becoming familiar with all of the different types of paint. You would really want to supervise very young children using this because oil paint does stain. But, for older children with an interest in art, this would be an incredible gift. I love that I got so many products for one low price. This is a great collection.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my fiance, who has wanted to get back into painting on a regular basis because it seemed like the best value for the variety of supplies it came with. He absolutely loved it. The box is sturdy and folds up to a pretty compactly and the paints (watercolor and oil) and paintbrushes seem to be pretty decent quality (not top of the line, but definitely a few steps up from beginner supplies). I also ended up buying him a set of acrylic paints in tubes to round out the set to paints. The plastic paint dish is a little small (it only holds six colors), so I may buy him another one (about a dollar at Walmart) so he can have more colors mixed at one time. This will end up being a nice case for art supplies with extra room to store dry, unfinished paintings. I’d definitely recommend this tabletop easel/art supply set for any beginner-intermediate artist.
