I’ve been using Princeton brushes for quite a while. Although they have retained a nice point, they haven’t been “pointy enough.” This means that I can’t get clean lines in tight spaces. The long round brush has given me more control with better water management since the size 8 holds decent amount of water / paint, while the sharp point allows for more versatility. Although it won’t replace a rigger every time, it does so regularly, while providing a much better reservoir of water / paint so I don’t have to dip it nearly as frequently.I had shied away from “long” brushes for a while, thinking that they had long handles. These have long bristles with regular handles.Happy painting!

I love this brush for my watercolors!

Lovely point. Holds plenty of water. Great spring back to point. I love the way this brush feels on paper.

The brush is great. I can tell a difference in how I apply The watercolors.

I saw several YouTube artist using this brush (Shayda Campbell and Ellen Crimi-Trent), so I ordered one. And now I know why so many artist use this brush. Out of all of my brushes for watercolor and gouache, this one is my overall favorite brush. Holds a lot paint, can get good paint/water ratio, can make thicker marks with the belly of the brush, but also has a fine tip for fine lines and edges as well.
