I bought a 1/2 inch rake to use in painting watercolors. They are not easy to find, and it works beautifully for tornadoes, beach grass, ribbon effects, baskets and cacti. I also liked that it didn’t get overloaded with paint, yet I could create a nice effect of darker and lighter areas when painting bushes and shrubbery. Very well made, very soft.. Still experimenting.

I love these things, they’re the main brush that I use, they hold together really well, the bristles don’t separate at the base very easily, the point stays for a long time with proper care and for painting miniatures they’re good for general basing and detail work.
