Bulah Auer II –
If you keep the 25% ratio, thin layers of paint are touch dry after 48 hrs. It also has a semi-glossy finish. Gamblin states it’s not suitable for initial layers, but I only paint 2 or 3 layers maximum. I can make the upper layers fatter by adding a drop of oil to the paint mixture., or a little more gel. 4 stars because I find it slightly irritating and it has a little odor too (bleached linseed oil has neither but dries slower), but maybe that is only my problem.

I have a very small space to paint, in the same room as my husband’s office, and both of us were being impacted by the Gamsol solvent. I got so I was smelling it 24/7, even though it’s supposed to be odorless. Anyway, this is great. In later layers of paint, it keeps the paint from smearing and showing brush marks. Good stuff. Would recommend.

Just started learning to oil paint and this stuff is great. It’s not runny like liquin or linseed oil, it mixes easily into the paint and thins things down enough to make the paint very easy to move around the canvas. No harsh odors. Dry time is decreased a decent amount as well. Very good product.
