I Purchased this Art alternatives Artist tote board for my 13 year old artist daughter for Christmas, I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of it given it’s relatively low cost. it was one of the Belles of the ball Christmas morning when my daughter opened it, she uses the rubber band to hold her pencils and markers while she draws and is constantly toting it all over the house to draw something new. I was so very happy to see that it held up well to the machinations of my teenager. If you are an artist or know someone who is an artist I would very much recommend this as a gift or for yourself, it is a great size and has a handle for easy carrying. It holds up well to systematic minor abuse from being ran in to walls and doors because my daughter isn’t paying attention, or being stuffed in weird places when I tell her to put it up for the day. Definitely a great quality and I will buy one for myself soon.

The field sketch board was delivered promptly without any problems. The board suits my needs perfectly. I prefer the rounded corners as I do my drawing in a recliner or on the couch most of the time. (No, not lazy, just a really, really bad back!) A rounded corner is just softer than a right angle and makes a difference in the way I use the board. The edges are smooth. In any case this board has made creating easier. The rubber band keeps paper in place, and the board is just the right size. I use painters tape to affix photos, sketches for reference as I draw, so it’s large enough for that as well as 8×12 paper. Any larger and it would have been too big for me. The clip also holds paper in place as it should. It’s a sturdy product, and is exactly as advertised.

I am an artist and I love that I can sit on the couch and clasp my paper down so it doesn’t move while I’m drawing, blending, erasing etc..It also came with a rubber band to strap across the page for easy rotation. It’s super light weight and can hold up to 18 inches in length drawing paper. It’s also great to do homework on while you sit comfortably! Very sturdy no flimsy at all

This has worked out as expected. I like the handle so I can stand it up next to my chair and grab it easily. It is a large surface area therefore it accommodates larger sheets of paper. I am not tough on things, so I am sure the durability will suit my needs. The clip is convenient at times, and I also clip a portable rechargeable LED light to it, which works out well. I can slide the light around, or the paper.

Not great if you need full range of your canvas do to the handle hole. That’s my fault for not looking closer. Other than that it’s a good item.
