These are THE brushes for traveling, esp in this price range. There may be better brushes, but for their collapsed size and weight, they hold a lot of water and scoop up pigment like a dream. I like the variety of sizes in this pack – 4,6, and 10. The big brush does the washes and the larger areas, while the smaller ones do the detail. I recommend for the Plein Air or Urban Sketching folks.
