Using these to fill in gaps on miniatures (with molding putty). So far they’re working fantastic. They work really well to smooth the putty out and seamlessly fill gaps. Very pleased. Would definitely recommend. Way better than trying to smooth out the putty with just a metal set of molding tools (though I still use those initially to get the putty in place, then use these to smooth things out and finish things off)

I bought these to work with Green Stuff for miniature painting, so keep that in mind as you read on. Green stuff is a bit stiffer to work with than clay, and for my first few uses I really thought the rubber tips were going to pull out, but then I realized that’s just how flexible these tools are. You get a good variety of sizes for the money, allowing you to do some pretty decent detail work. If you dip them in water (essential for Green Stuff), they pick up just the right amount to let you work without waterlogging the specific spots you’re sculpting. I can honestly say that my work is better for having bought these.
