   I picked this up for a colored pencil class and it works great for that. There is just another tooth to grip without so much tooth as to add unwanted texture. This makes it easy to use for a beginner and I love it for that.The quality is great. The size is perfect for what I wanted. This price, combined with this quality, makes it a great value.

   Canson is a beautiful paper to use for many kinds of art: watercolor, pen and ink, embossing, pastels. It is heavy enough to handle being wet (not soaked) and can be used for flats or cards. The product is great; the company’s shipping – not so much. They shipped the tablet of Canson in a flimsy bubble wrap envelope. Not even directions stamped on the outside saying not to bend. My mail person folded the envelope to put it in the mailbox and was devastated when she learned what it was. She would have brought it right to the door if there had been ANY indicated that contents needed to be handled carefully. The company replaced it with no fuss, but if it had been well-packed and labeled, that would not have been necessary.
