I bought because this particular water brush was recommended. Good first water brush. Definitely a learning curve if you haven’t used one before. It’s fun to tinker with, but still prefer regular brush.

The brush tip is quite flexible in comparison to a Kuretake aqua brush which I also like. The Pentel brush tip is very fine and it takes good control to lay down a fine line on watercolor paper. I expected the water barrel to be longer because even in my small hands, I prefer a slightly longer barrel. The small barrel means you have to replenish the water more frequently than with a longer-barreled aquabrush. It’s good for quick watercolor sketching outdoors.

Love the ease and portability of this handy water brush.

This pen is now a necessity for me. I had been using a tiny brush and a dish of water. Now I have this and preparing a section of napkin for removal is a piece of cake. No more dipping and brush running dry. This pen solves the frustration of this task.

Also, besides using it on the go, I like using it in my studio to avoid stopping to re-dip.

I have just received my second order of this brushes from this company because I accidentally left my first one with my granddaughter even though she already has another brand. I have given water brushes along with 24-pencil sets of Crayola watercolor pencils to many children because they are ideal for kids, who love to watch their watercolor pencil marks come alive and they are great for travel. There are several advantages to this type of brush; they hold enough water to get me through a day of nature journaling; they can be wiped clean on a small piece of cellulose sponge (which hardly ever needs to be rinsed out) and, because the point is so sturdy, a size large brush can be used even for the finest details. So pleased with this brush I bought two this time and maybe should have gotten four. Great price.

Finally received it. FINALLY! Thanks! I apologetic for the last review.
